Cookie Policy
CallMangal — operated by START DESIGNS
Effective / last updated: 9 August 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how CallMangal, operated by START DESIGNS, uses cookies and similar technologies on the public marketing website at callmangal.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
This Policy describes technologies actually used on the marketing site based on the current implementation. The separate application at app.callmangal.com may set additional cookies or storage items required for authentication and product functionality; those are governed by the product environment and our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts, and security widgets that store or access information on your browser. Some technologies are first-party (set by callmangal.com). Others are third-party (set by a provider such as Google or Cloudflare when their scripts run).
3. Technologies we use on the marketing website
Based on the current website implementation, CallMangal uses the following categories of technologies. We do not invent marketing pixels or tools that are not present in the codebase.
4. Strictly necessary / functional site operation
These technologies help the website load and operate basic features such as navigation partials, forms, and interface state. Without them, parts of the site may not work correctly. They are not used to build advertising profiles on this marketing site.
5. Functional / first-party storage (attribution)
The marketing site uses browser sessionStorage (key: mangal_attribution) to store first-touch attribution details such as UTM parameters, landing page, and referrer. This information is used so that when you submit an enquiry form, we can understand how you first found CallMangal. It is first-party functional storage for sales attribution, not a third-party advertising cookie. Session storage is typically cleared when the browser session ends.
6. Analytics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google’s gtag.js implementation to understand how visitors use the marketing website (for example page views and aggregate traffic patterns). GA4 may set cookies or use similar identifiers operated by Google. Measurement ID currently configured on the site: G-ECY2S4GE0F.
Google may process analytics data according to its own terms and privacy materials. You can learn more about Google Analytics and browser controls through Google’s help resources. We use analytics to improve content, navigation, and product messaging.
7. Security / anti-abuse — Cloudflare Turnstile
Enquiry and contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security and anti-abuse service that helps reduce bot submissions and spam. Turnstile may load scripts from Cloudflare domains and process technical signals needed to verify that a form submission is likely from a human visitor. This is a security control, not a marketing pixel.
8. Optional developer diagnostics
Our form scripts may read a local diagnostic flag (for example a MANGAL_DEBUG localStorage value) used only for troubleshooting form behavior. This is not used for advertising and is not required for normal visitors.
9. What we do not currently use on the marketing site
As of the effective date of this Policy, the marketing website implementation reviewed for this document does not include separate third-party advertising pixels (for example Meta/Facebook Ads pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or Google Ads conversion tags) beyond the GA4 measurement script described above. If we add marketing tags later, we will update this Policy.
10. First-party vs third-party technologies
- First-party: sessionStorage attribution on callmangal.com; site scripts hosted on our domain.
- Third-party: Google Analytics scripts/cookies; Cloudflare Turnstile challenge scripts and related security processing.
11. How long technologies last
Duration depends on the technology:
- Session storage typically lasts for the browser session.
- Analytics cookies may persist for periods defined by Google Analytics settings and your browser.
- Security challenge data used by Turnstile is processed as needed to validate form submissions.
12. Your browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, clear site data, and control third-party storage. You can also use browser privacy modes or extensions. Blocking analytics or security technologies may limit our ability to measure traffic or may affect form submission reliability. Managing cookies through browser settings is your choice; we do not currently operate a separate on-site cookie preference center on the marketing website.
13. Google Analytics opt-out options
Visitors who do not want Google Analytics to collect data may use browser controls or Google’s available opt-out mechanisms (such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, where available). Blocking Google scripts may prevent analytics measurement on callmangal.com.
14. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised when we publish updates.
